Remember that pretty, warm weather? On one of those last nice days, we took our AR books outside and sat in the sun. Today is cold and rainy. I want that pretty weather back!
Dogzilla is always a favorite. Today the kids were rereading the story with a partner. Most of the characters in the story are mice, and the squeaky voices keep getting louder and louder as the kids try to read in character. It’s like someone filled the room with helium.
We’ve finished all the stories in our reading series, plus a few extra along the way. Our next project: book clubs. Students chose from four chapter books I’d selected, and are now reading and discussing them every day.
