Ever wonder what we do when it’s rainy or cold outside?  The kids still need recess!  They can choose to play board games,

card games,

computer games or blog,

or build with magnatiles, legos, lincoln logs, or gears.

No running or being loud – we’re inside! – but at least it’s a chance to move around and choose what to do for a while.  We stay in for recess when the temperature or wind chill is too cold (Mrs. Bramel usually determines this for everyone), or when it’s rainy or there’s standing water or snow on the paved parts of the playground.
